The Dallas Cowboys need a strong bounce-back performance on Sunday and here’s why they’ll get it and top the Green Bay Packers in Week 5.

The Dallas Cowboys had a rough outing in New Orleans against the Saints on Sunday Night Football, losing 12-10 in a defensive struggle. All around, the Cowboys were hit-or-miss in Week 4, leaning heavily towards miss.

Kellen Moore‘s revamped offense simply was not clicking, Ezekiel Elliott was unable to get it going and the Saints secondary locked down the Dallas receivers in every one-on-one matchup. The Dallas defense however, held their ground and did not allow a single touchdown by the Saints. They totaled five sacks and Chidobe Awuzie notched the lone interception early on.

The Cowboys are now one-quarter of the way into the 2019 season and, despite their first loss against New Orleans, lead the NFC East with a 3-1 record on the year. While the resurgence of the New York Giants behind rookie quarterback Daniel Jones is noteworthy, it is not a concern for Dallas.

Right now, the Cowboys are headed into a Week 5 matchup against a long-time NFC rival, the Green Bay Packers, in a huge Sunday afternoon clash inside AT&T Stadium.

Dallas fans should be looking forward to Sunday’s tilt. Yes, the last time the Packers came into their house, they were victorious in a blistering 35-31 effort. However, the tides have turned in the Cowboys’ favor since then and that will prove to again be the case on Sunday.

Here are the three primary reasons the Dallas Cowboys will prevail over Green Bay in their Week 5 matchup.
