2. The defense recovers a fumble for the fourth straight game

It would be fair to say that the New Orleans Saints defense and special teams require all of the credit for their last two wins. When the Saints were in a jam, the defense and their special teams unit were able to pull them out of it. Most notably, the defense has been playing a lot better than they have in previous years and it shows by the way they’re wreaking havoc on opposing offenses.

However, there is one trend that’s appeared in their last two games and that’s the defense finishing the game with at least one recovered fumble. Against the Seahawks, Rams and Cowboys, the defense had a recovered fumble. They also picked off Dak Prescott when they played the Cowboys. In Week 5, I predict that the Saints will recover at least one fumble for the fourth week in a row.

Looking at Jameis Winston’s stats, he has already thrown multiple interceptions and also recorded a fumble. Along with Winston, O.J. Howard also lost a fumble so the Bucs have shown that it’s not impossible. The Saints D has been the master of executing strip-sacks and punching the ball out despite players having good ball security.

Considering how dynamic the Saints defense has been, recovering another fumble seems like a guarantee, rather than a prediction.
