1. The game is decided for the Saints by Wil Lutz

While the Buccaneers usually don’t seem like a threat, they seemed legitimately scary against the Los Angeles Rams. Of course, the Rams handed the Saints the first loss of the season so there’s going to be a bit more pressure when facing the Bucs.

Maybe things have finally turned around for the Bucs and they’re ready to compete for the NFC South. Nevertheless, they have the potential to possibly beat the Saints.

Thankfully, I don’t see that happening but I do predict that the game will be closer than we originally thought. It will be so close that the game will go in the Saints favor courtesy of Wil Lutz.

Lutz has come in clutch once already this season so there’s no way he’s going to let the Saints down. So far, Lutz has only missed one field goal and one extra point this season so he has been on the money.

Going up against the Bucs though, the Saints are going to have to rely on Lutz as Bridgewater didn’t even throw a touchdown in Week 4. Unless Bridgewater can pull it together as he did against Seattle, most of the scores will come via Lutz’s leg.

With Brees, things would be a lot different as he’s gone up against the Bucs many times but Bridgewater is still getting used to things. Considering how impressive the Bucs were last week, the Saints are going to have their hands full.
