2. Wentz tops 300 yards, finds end zone three times

Despite injuries to the wide receiver group, despite having a ton of pressure on him and despite coming off another injury to start the year, Carson Wentz has been quite good through the Eagles’ first four games of the 2019 campaign. However, he only threw for 160 yards — though he added three touchdowns — last week in the win over Green Bay. On 10 days rest against this Jets defense, though, Wentz will be eating healthily on Sunday afternoon.

For all of the flaws that the Jets have, they actually have a decent run defense this season. Considering the inconsistent ground game of Philadelphia as well, Doug Pederson should put the ball in his quarterback’s hands. And with Ertz primed to shine and no one to match up with Alshon Jeffery, Wentz will light up a bad group of defensive backs with his best game of 2019.

1. Eagles don’t break a sweat with 30-point win

If there has been one weakness of the Eagles in their 2-2 start to the 2019 season, it’s the aforementioned secondary. However, they’re up against a Jets team starting their third-string quarterback who won’t be able to take advantage of that. That ultimately sets the stage for a monster day for Philadelphia at home.

On every level, the Eagles should dominate this game. They should wreak havoc defensively with the pressure they can create, should throw all over a bad secondary and then be able to run against a banged-up Jets front to ice the game. The result will be a huge blowout that adds to the woes of Gang Green, the Eagles winning running away by at least 30 points. Turns out, that 14-point spread won’t be high enough.
