The Kansas City Chiefs put their perfect record on the line as the Indianapolis Colts come to town for Sunday Night Football. Bold predictions for the game.

The Kansas City Chiefs have looked as good as advertised through the first four weeks of the 2019 NFL season. Though their defense is still not anything to write home about, Patrick Mahomes and the offense have been moving the ball like clockwork and the result has been a perfect 4-0 start to the season. Now they open the doors of Arrowhead Stadium for Jacoby Brissett and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football for Week 5.

Indianapolis comes into this game both banged up and still a little frisky. They are 2-2 on the season as they travel to Kansas City and should have T.Y. Hilton back in the lineup on Sunday night. However, injuries to the defense raise some concern about slowing down this high-octane Chiefs attack. As such, we could be looking at a shootout in primetime.

Will that be the case or will this game surprise us? To try and make sense of it, let’s dive into the matchup by making five bold predictions for the Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

5. Hilton returns for a monster day

After sitting out last week, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is listed as questionable for Week 5 but appears like he’s going to play. First, that’s a huge boom for the passing game as Jacoby Brissett doesn’t have a ton to work with without Hilton on the roster. Secondly, fantasy owners are rejoicing in a favorable matchup for Hilton against a shaky Chiefs secondary.

Even if Hilton isn’t at 100 percent, the wideout has proven throughout his career that he’s a warrior, not only willing to play hurt but to perform well when he does so. Furthermore, he’s been reliable for Brissett this season, even if the yardage hasn’t been there. Hilton has at least one touchdown in the three games he’s played in 2019, totaling four on the year to this point. He’s a huge factor when he’s on the field.

Given how bad the Chiefs secondary has been this season, Hilton will again show out. If he’s on the field — which he should be — he’s going to be utilized heavily. In a favorable matchup, that translates to a big day, namely getting his first 100-yard game of the season as the Colts try to keep up with the explosive Kansas City offense.
