3. Mack dices up Chiefs defense for 150+ yards

Marlon Mack has been one of the most underrated player of the young 2019 NFL season. The Indianapolis Colts was thrust into a featured role this season and, though he had high expectations in doing so, he’s delivered thus far. He’s been reliable in every facet of the offense through the first four weeks.

For as good as the Chiefs are, their defense remains a problem. And the most glaring area of that defense is how they stand up against the run. Kansas City is one of the worst teams in the NFL through four weeks in stopping the run, allowing 149.8 rushing yards per game. Furthermore, the Chiefs have struggled at defending running backs as pass-catchers out of the backfield.

Running behind a Colts offensive line that has remained exceptional this season, Mack has the opportunity to feast on the Chiefs defense. Yes, you have to worry about Indianapolis potentially playing from behind and not running quite as much as they’d like to. At the same time, Mack is a capable pass-catcher that, if that game script plays out, will still have a role to play.

On the whole, this matchup is primed for Mack to go off, which he’s already been doing with 338 rushing yards through four weeks. He’ll have by far his best day of the 2019 campaign on Sunday — even if he’s questionable coming into the week — and finish the day with at least 150 total yards against Kansas City.
