3. Beckham tops 150 yards in massive night

Amidst the Cleveland Browns’ offensive explosion last week against the Ravens where they put up 40 points in the victory, Nick Chubb, Jarvis Landry, Baker Mayfield and Ricky Seals-Jones all came up with big performances. However, the most surprising outing of the day came from Odell Beckham Jr., who was a virtual non-factor in terms of the offensive outburst.

Despite being targeted seven times in the game, Beckham ended the day with only two catches for 20 yards against the Ravens. And really, the high-profile trade acquisition has been overall lackluster thus far in his first season with Cleveland. Outside of his 161-yard showing against the Jets, Beckham has not topped 71 yards in a game this season.

While the 49ers secondary has actually performed incredibly well this season, they are short-handed coming into this matchup against the Browns. Ahkello Witherspoon is out with a sprained ankle, leaving the Niners relying heavily on veteran Richard Sherman and then looking for Emmanuel Moseley to step up.

Neither Sherman nor Moseley has the speed or quickness to hang with Beckham. If the Browns look to employ a quick-strike offense again, OBJ should have a field day against the San Francisco secondary. He’ll rebound from his disappointing Week 4 effort with a monster game, going for 150+ yards for the second time this season.
