21. Jacksonville Jaguars (16)

The legend of Gardner Minshew has continued to grow as the sixth-round rookie continues to impress. He’s done so well that there’s been talk about the Jacksonville Jaguars potentially naming him the starter going forward which would essentially end the Nick Foles era before it ever even got started.

Minshew again played exceptionally well for the Jaguars on Sunday, even though he was unable to get the win for his team. He ended up throwing for 374 yards on 26-of-44 passing and had two touchdowns with no picks. Leonard Fournette also did his part, going for 108 yards and a touchdown while wide receiver D.J. Chark was able to score twice while catching 164 yards off eight receptions.

However, Minshew did fumble three times, which was devastating in the seven-point loss. Still, he’s played far better than anyone expected him to when Foles went down in the opener.

As much as they moved the ball on offense, the defense just couldn’t get the job done. They gave up 176 yards on the ground and 61 in the air to Christian McCaffrey, who scored three total touchdowns in the win for Carolina. This used to be the strength of the team and should they rediscover their magic, they could turn things around.
