16. Houston Texans (23)

Deshaun Watson is quickly becoming one of the best in the NFL. The Houston Texans had the hardest time finding their franchise quarterback as players such as David Carr, Matt Schaub, and Brock Osweiler all had their chances. Schaub was the best of the bunch but he still never was considered an elite talent at the position, whereas Watson already has proven to be.

On Sunday, he had one of the better performances he’s ever delivered. Against the Atlanta Falcons, he was a monster, throwing for 426 yards and five touchdowns while adding another 47 yards on the ground.

His favorite target was Will Fuller, who he hit on 14-of-16 targets for 217 yards and three touchdowns. He connected with tight end Darren Fells for the other two as he led the team to a 53-32 win. That moved the Texans to 3-2 on the season, keeping them on pace to win the AFC South.

It’s been a nice change for them after years of being a team that played dominant defense but couldn’t move the chains on offense. Now, they may not be as dangerous on defense but they’re still capable of making big plays — such as the 79-yard pick-six from Tashaun Gipson to end the game. That’s all they need with this kind of offense to hang with anyone.
