11. Indianapolis Colts (21)

Jacoby Brissett continues to prove the Indianapolis Colts were right in not only trading for him from the New England Patriots, but also in keeping him when Andrew Luck returned in 2018. They again made the right move when they extended him this season after Luck decided to call it quits after his latest injury.

None of this is being said as a way to claim that Brissett is an MVP candidate or anything like that. Instead, it’s all about Brissett being a warrior on the field. He does whatever he can to keep his team in the game and even if it’s not always flashy, he gets the job done.

On Sunday Night Football, he was once again on the field with a big task in front of him as he took on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs and got a huge win. Indy didn’t ask a lot out of Brissett, who had just 151 yards and a pick, but he did just enough. He even ran in the only touchdown of the game for the Colts, a one-yarder in the first quarter.

The real story though was the ground game and defense for the Colts. Marlon Mack was unstoppable and helped them win the time of possession game with ease. On defense, they held the high-scoring Chiefs to just 13 points and had some big plays from Justin Houston who had to love sticking it to the team that cut him heading into the season.
