4. Green Bay Packers (10)

Aaron Rodgers seems to always play his best football in Dallas. Not only did he win his lone Super Bowl there, but he just keeps scoring wins over the Cowboys in their own stadium. He did so once again on Sunday as he guided the Green Bay Packers to a 34-24 win.

That moved the Packers to 4-1, but more impressive was the fact that they haven’t let any injuries slow them down. Green Bay entered the game with Davante Adams out due to injury but that didn’t slow the offense down.

They then lost center Corey Linsley to a concussion and later saw pass rusher Za’Darius Smith and safety Darnell Savage sidelined due to injuries as well. Still, that didn’t stop them from getting the job done.

Led by an amazing performance by Aaron Jones (107 yards rushing, 75 receiving, four touchdowns), Green Bay took a commanding 31-3 lead. Dallas was moving the ball but made some serious mistakes which included three interceptions and two missed field goals. Those mistakes allowed the Packers to hold on even when Dallas tried hard for a comeback in the second half.

Despite giving up 463 yards passing and 122 rushing, Green Bay’s defense continues to impress. Many of those yards came as the Cowboys made some desperation throws. They were also generating pressure all night, sacking Dak Prescott three times but forcing bad throws many more times than that.

At 4-1, they’re in control of the NFC North. And with Rodgers playing like himself again after some injury-plagued seasons, they’re once again a force in the NFC.
