27. Atlanta Falcons (25)

The 2019 season for the Atlanta Falcons is officially a disaster. They had some high hopes considering they’re not too far removed from being a Super Bowl team. They did fall off in 2018 but the belief was that had more to do with the offensive line than anything, so they tried to fix that this season. However, we now see the problems go much deeper than that.

Atlanta has a way of putting up a lot of yards and they even scored 32 points in their latest outing. The problem is, many of these points and yards are empty, especially when you consider they got 15 in the final quarter of their 53-32 blowout at the hands of the Houston Texans.

That has to really get under the skin of head coach Dan Quinn, who has a reputation for being a defensive guru. The former Seattle defensive coordinator has never been able to build the success he wants on that side of the ball, which is the main reason they’re sitting at 1-4 with a 0-3 mark away from Atlanta.

They’re clearly out of the NFC South race but will there be any changes to the staff? Both Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff have said they know how important this season was for their future and this start is less than ideal.
