Dallas Cowboys (3-2) at New York Jets (0-4)

Sunday, October 13, 4:25PM ET

Yes, the Dallas Cowboys have lost their last two games. Yes, they don’t have nearly as much momentum coming into Week 6 as they did only a couple of weekends ago. And yet, the 0-4 New York Jets pose little threat to their ability to break their losing streak.

Even if Sam Darnold is able to return to the lineup, that won’t be enough to save the Jets. Their defense has been below average at best this year, especially when it comes to slowing the pass. Dak Prescott may be coming off a disappointing, three-interception performance, but he’s more than capable of shredding this New York secondary.

Don’t be surprised if that’s exactly what happens. That’ll actually probably happen in the first half, allowing the Cowboys to turn their attention to the ground game for the final 30 minutes. That’s when Ezekiel Elliott will become the star of the show, putting a Top 10-ranked Jets run defense to shame for two quarters.

I don’t think Gang Green thought this season would go this poorly through the first five weeks. Unfortunately for Adam Gase and the rest of the club, it’s going to get worse before it gets better. The Cowboys come to town and hand them their fifth-straight loss to start the 2019 campaign.

Prediction: Cowboys win 30-14
