Seattle Seahawks (4-1) at Cleveland Browns (2-3)

Sunday, October 13, 1PM ET

I’m finding it harder and harder to buy into the Browns at this point. Their offensive playmakers have been wildly inconsistent this season, and they’re making far too many mistakes. Can we really count on a team like that to secure wins on a weekly basis?

Not really. Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks have been sensational this season. Apart from falling short during a shootout with the New Orleans Saints, they’ve delivered in clutch moments in 2019. Russell Wilson is having an MVP-caliber season, Chris Carson is looking like one of the NFL’s best runners, and the Seattle defense is making plenty of big plays.

In particular, the additions of Jadeveon Clowney and Ezekiel Ansah have been a big help. That’s part of what will do in the Browns on Sunday. Their offensive line has been a sieve this season, allowing Baker Mayfield little time to make plays. Look for more of the same in Week 6, with the Seahawks forcing the Browns into a handful of turnovers.

The Browns need a win in the worst of ways. Unfortunately for them, a matchup with the 4-1 Seahawks isn’t going to help them achieve that. A little Wilson magic and plenty of pass rushing prowess gets Seattle the victory.

Prediction: Seahawks win 27-17
