Your new favorite superhero plays in the NFL, the coaching carousel is starting to turn quickly, weekly awards and more in your NFL Notebook from Week 5.

I would like to apologize in advance. Like with every NFL Notebook that you see from me, this Week 5 edition will take a deep dive into my brain and see what I’ve been thinking about in the world of football. Unfortunately, that’s not where my remorse lies.

Okay, here it goes: I’m sorry I used so many of my tweets.

Phew, that feels good to get off my chest. All kidding aside, there has been plenty to talk about in football and naturally, I’ll tweet about it. What? I can’t wait a week to share my football thoughts with you. Sometimes, you just have to be greedy and tell the world, “Hey, this team would struggle to hit .500 in a Pop-Warner league.”

In all seriousness, there’s still a boatload of topics to cover today. My favorites include:

  • The coaching change you should see coming
  • Another scheduling gaffe by the NFL
  • The SEC running back making waves
  • A Baker Mayfield impersonation
  • Weekly Awards and more…

First, let me tell you which player isn’t only an MVP candidate, but is also the second coming of Superman before we get into the rest of the goodies that comprise the NFL Notebook from Week 5 of the 2019 NFL season.
