9. Prescott, Elliott both rest during fourth quarter

The Dallas Cowboys received plenty of criticism for losing two tough games against playoff contenders in the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers, but at least Week 6 should work in their favor.

After watching the Philadelphia Eagles secure an easy win over the New York Jets last Sunday, the Cowboys should be able to see similar results when taking on Adam Gase’s squad.

All due respect to the Jets since anything could happen in Week 6, it’s clear this team is a work in progress with plenty of areas in need of improvement, especially when it comes to the offensive line.

If all goes well for the Cowboys, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott could help Dallas make sure this game is well over by the time the fourth quarter rolls around by putting up the necessary points on offense.

The duo hasn’t looked as sharp over the last two weeks as a result of facing two impressive defenses, but hopefully a matchup with the Jets helps the Cowboys get back on track.

Even if the Jets keep things close early on, this seems like a game in which Dallas should be able to build a comfortable lead to potentially help their stars earn some rest in the fourth quarter.
