3. Thomas records double-digit catches for fourth time in 2019

Hope seemed lost for the New Orleans Saints back in Week 2 when Drew Brees went down with a thumb injury, but Teddy Bridgewater has helped this team remain a top contender in the NFC.

In fact, when looking at how the rest of the NFC is shaping up, the argument can be made that other than the San Francisco 49ers, the Saints deserve to be considered the team to beat in the conference.

Winning three games in a row since the Brees injury has certainly made a strong case for New Orleans in the NFC, and if they want to keep that streak going against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Michael Thomas may need another monster performance.

Last weekend, the Ohio State product finally had the breakout game the Saints have been waiting for after catching 11 passes for 182 yards to go along with two trips into the end zone.

Rightfully so, Bridgewater did everything in his power to get the football in Thomas’ hands as much as possible, and with the Jaguars struggling on defense in recent weeks, the wideout could use this to his advantage on Sunday.

There’s a reason why New Orleans was willing to pay Thomas all that money during the offseason to make sure he would stick around for the long run, and another game consisting of double-digit receptions could result in four wins in a row for the Saints.
