19. Bengals bench Dalton over poor play

Whatever is going on with the Cincinnati Bengals, Zac Taylor better figure out a way to help his team turn things around quickly, or they’re going to be in the hunt for earning one of the top draft picks in April.

Even with the Bengals having to deal with key injuries to players like A.J. Green, Cincinnati should arguably have one or two wins by now when looking at the talent Taylor still has to work with.

While it’s difficult to place a majority of the blame on one individual, Andy Dalton will continue to receive heavy criticism if the Bengals continue to struggle on offense.

For a quarterback that was already facing plenty of pressure in the offseason since it’s debatable Cincinnati would be better off focusing on someone else under center, the Bengals still in search of their first win is the last thing Dalton needs to be dealing with.

And if that wasn’t already difficult enough to deal with, Dalton and the Bengals will face another difficult matchup on the road this Sunday when taking on the Baltimore Ravens.

After watching the Ravens hang on for a thrilling overtime win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday, one can only imagine how thrilled this defense is going to be facing a struggling offense led by Dalton.

Depending on how ugly this game could get, Cincinnati may end up trailing so much that Dalton finishes the game from the sidelines.
