17. Murray earns second win in a row for Cardinals

Even though it was close at the end, the Arizona Cardinals held on to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals to finally give Kyler Murray his first career win as a NFL starter.

Football fans can say whatever they want about the way the Cardinals handled the situation in the offseason replacing Josh Rosen with the Oklahoma product, but in the long run, Murray seems like he’s going to be the better option.

Like most rookie quarterbacks, Murray certainly has numerous areas in need of improvement, but the early experience he’s gaining as a starter will work wonders for Arizona beyond 2019.

Most importantly, one of the most exciting factors about Week 6 is Murray no longer has to deal with the extra pressure of earning that first win, and could even be in position to earn a second one in a row with a favorable matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

A few weeks ago, this game was considered to work to the advantage of the Falcons with their high-powered offense, but Dan Quinn’s squad only has one win to their name heading into Week 6.

Clearly, Atlanta has struggled to live up to the high expectations for 2019, and if Murray can find a way to expose the defense, Arizona could be in for that second win.
