15. Barber records first 100-yard rushing game of 2019

One week after pulling off a surprise win on the road over the Los Angeles Rams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers nearly did it again in Week 5 against a familiar face in the New Orleans Saints.

Right now, the argument can be made that Tampa Bay has been one of the most difficult teams to figure out so far in 2019, and it will be interesting to see how Bruce Arians’ team looks in the second meeting with the Carolina Panthers in London.

Back in Week 2, the Buccaneers pulled off a surprise win over their division rivals after escaping with a 20-14 win in Carolina thanks to an impressive outing on the defensive side of the football.

But if Tampa Bay is going to have any shot at recording the sweep over the Panthers for 2019, the offense may need a strong game on the ground from Peyton Barber.

Believe it or not, Barber’s most impressive game so far this season came during that Week 2 win over the Panthers in which he finished with 83 rushing yards and a score on 23 carries.

Despite Tampa Bay only giving Barber 17 carries over his previous two games, they’re well aware how effective he was back in Week 2, meaning it would be smart to provide him with a similar workload on Sunday in London.
