14. Clowney sacks Mayfield three times

Even if Baker Mayfield finally had himself a breakout game on Sunday when facing the Seattle Seahawks, this doesn’t mean the defense still can’t put together an impressive outing of their own in the sack department.

Right before the start of Week 1, the Seahawks decided to take a risk by acquiring Jadeveon Clowney from the Houston Texans, and after watching the former No. 1 pick record a sack right away in Week 1, this seemed like a great addition.

Since defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, Clowney has yet to record another sack, although he did manage to find the end zone following a turnover three weeks later during an easy victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

After watching how easy the San Francisco 49ers made it look at times in getting to Mayfield during Week 5, Clowney seems to be in position for the perfect opportunity to add a few sacks to his total on the 2019 season.

Throughout his career, Clowney has been a nightmare at times for opponents to keep in check, and the Browns could be the latest victim for the star defensive end if the offensive line fails to protect Mayfield, whether they want to hear this or not.
