2. Gordon goes for 150+ yards, two touchdowns

Reinstated to the NFL, Josh Gordon has been quite good for the New England Patriots offense in 2019. He’s New England’s third-leading wide receiver with 280 yards on 19 catches. However, Gordon has barely caught half of his 35 targets and has just one score on the year. Furthermore, he’s yet to top 100 yards in a game this season.

Luckily for Gordon and the Pats, the New York Giants secondary has been more than generous this season. They’ve given up 297.6 yards per game through the air on the 2019 season and that’s with games against Buffalo and Washington on the schedule. Brady is going to find his best matchup and the G-Men have no one that can hang with Gordon. He’ll go off for a monster day, doubling his touchdown total for the year in one outing.

1. Patriots win by 40 points

Considering that the Patriots are favored by 17 points on Thursday Night Football, it’s safe to say that they’re going to win comfortably. However, we’ve seen this team kind of take their foot off of the gas against some teams this season, particularly on offense. The only team that they’ve defeated by more than 40 points thus far was the Miami Dolphins. That changes at Gillette Stadium in Week 6.

Even if the faces have changed, make no mistake that there is no love lost between the Patriots and Giants. They have a long history, particularly with New York commonly thwarting big aspirations for New England. Belichick has not forgotten about that and he’ll show that on Thursday, turning up the heat and beating Big Blue into submission — and then continuing to bring the noise.
