Remember all of the talk last weekend about the Los Angeles Chargers being on upset alert with the Denver Broncos coming to town?
As the Chargers learned the hard way, the Broncos found a way to earn their first win of the 2019 season, and put additional pressure on Los Angeles heading into Sunday night’s meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Last season, the Chargers finally found a way to live up to the hype for a change by earning one of the Wild Card spots in the AFC, but this year has been somewhat of a rough start.
With only two wins to their name heading into Week 6, Los Angeles isn’t in a position where they can afford to fall further behind the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West standings, meaning every win moving forward is going to be extremely important.
Despite all of the issues that Pittsburgh has been dealing with in recent weeks, their recent loss to the Baltimore Ravens shows they could give Los Angeles a run for their money.
If the Broncos were able to earn the win on the road over the Chargers, why can’t the Steelers do the same during Week 6 in front of a national audience?
