1. Chiefs vs. Texans
If all goes according to plan for Week 6, the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans could end up being one of the highest-scoring contests of the weekend when looking at the weapons each quarterback has to work with.
Despite Patrick Mahomes proving to be human last weekend in a loss to the Indianapolis Colts, there’s no reason for the reigning MVP to be concerned since a meeting with the Texans is the perfect opportunity to bounce back.
As for Watson, the Texans star is coming off a career day in which he threw five touchdown passes in a win over the Atlanta Falcons to help Houston remain in first place with the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South standings.
All due respect to both defenses, early signs point to this game turning out to be a shootout with plenty of touchdowns.
Watching Mahomes and Watson quickly develop into two of the top quarterbacks in the NFL has been incredible to watch. And the best part is, these two are only scratching the surface of their true potential.
In fact, it’s a little too early to be discussing MVP candidates, but if all continues to go well, chances are both of these quarterbacks will end up in the conversation.
