1. Lions offense has two turnovers

The Packers have been extremely opportunistic on defense so far this season, forcing 11 takeaways (seven interceptions, four fumble recoveries) in just five games. Overall, Green Bay has a plus-seven turnover margin on the season.

That trend should continue against the Lions, who have just a plus-two turnover margin in four games. As a team, Detroit has lost four fumbles, and quarterback Matthew Stafford has thrown two interceptions. While the Lions offensive line has been outstanding at run-blocking, they’ve been far below average in pass-protection.

According to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), the Lions offensive line ranks as the fifth-best run-blocking unit in the entire NFL, but just the 25th-best pass-blocking unit. Meanwhile, the Packers have one of the league’s most productive pass-rushing groups with Za’Darius Smith, Preston Smith and Kenny Clark.

The Packers are ranked by PFF as the 10th-best pass-rushing unit in the NFL. Green Bay’s defense has already produced 123 quarterback pressures through five games. Stafford and the Lions offensive line will have their hands full on Monday night. Because of that, we could see an interception from Stafford and possibly a fumble or two.
