Amidst a loaded college football Week 7 slate, looking at seven intriguing 2020 NFL Draft prospects that were in the spotlight on Saturday.

The 2020 NFL Draft is often in the minds of many fans when they tune into college football in a given week. However, that was especially the case in Week 7, the most loaded college slate of the 2019 regular season to date. The day included Oklahoma vs. Texas, Penn State vs. Iowa, Alabama vs. Texas A&M and a slew of other high-profile games to treat fans to.

On Saturday, there was also plenty of shock. Few saw the South Carolina Gamecocks upsetting the No. 3 ranked Georgia Bulldogs or teams like Washington State and USC taking ranked opponents down to the wire. Regardless, it was an overall big day for 2020 NFL Draft prospects that have something to prove still after seven weeks of football.

Let’s take a look at seven intriguing prospects coming out of college football Week 7 that could make some sort of impact when they arrive at the next level via the 2020 NFL Draft.

7. Eno Benjamin, RB, Arizona State

Part of the reason for Arizona State’s success is the man behind the quarterback, Eno Benjamin. He’s the focal point of a spread offense where he excels thanks to his one cut, plant and go running style. Although he’s just 5-10, 205 pounds, he runs with power and a low center of gravity. And he has enough speed to take it the distance.

Once again, in a tight game against Washington State, Arizona relied on the legs of Benjamin. In their thrilling victory, he finished with 137 yards on 19 carries averaging 7.2 yards per carry, including a 32-yard touchdown run.

He’s not bothered by traffic and weaves his way through it absorbing contact in the process. When faced one on one, he does a solid job making guys miss. What he also brings is value as a pass-catcher. Benjamin is an ideal third-down back with the potential to be more.

In fact, in their win against Washington State, Benjamin finished with six catches bringing his total to 19 on the season. Benjamin is a ready-now player for the current style of the NFL. He’ll be a solid addition to a team needing a complementary back who could eventually carry the load.
