With the Minnesota Vikings taking down the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6, here are some studs and duds from the victory for Minnesota.

The Minnesota Vikings took another big step in the right direction on Sunday afternoon at home in Minneapolis. The Vikings remained perfect in three games in front of their home crowd through six weeks of the regular season schedule, taking down a tough NFC opponent at US Bank Stadium.

Minnesota tallied a season-high 38 points in the contest on Sunday to take down the Philadelphia Eagles 38-20 and improve to 3-0 at home so far this year, also extending its winning streak to two in a row going into Week 7 of the regular-season slate.

The Vikings jumped out to an early advantage over the Eagles on Sunday afternoon in Minnesota, not looking back after taking the lead. Minnesota opened the showdown against Philadelphia by outscoring the Eagles 10-0 after one quarter, carrying a 24-10 lead into halftime at US Bank Stadium.

In the second half, the Vikings were able to coast to the victory in an NFC matchup, outscoring the Eagles 14-10 in the second half en route to the 18-point victory. With the win, Minnesota improved to 4-2 on the season as it continues to try and climb in both the NFC North and NFC standings in general. The Vikings will look to continue their winning ways in Week 7, when they travel to Detroit to face the Lions in an important divisional showdown.

With the loss, Philadelphia dropped down to the .500 mark on the season, falling to 3-3 overall through six weeks of play in 2019. The Eagles, who began a stretch of three straight road games against Minnesota on Sunday, will remain on the road next weekend when they travel to square off against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football in Texas.

The Vikings took another step in the right direction on Sunday afternoon at home in Minneapolis, and they will look to carry that success as of late into another big game next weekend in Week 7 of the season in Detroit.
