. OT. Cleveland Browns. Lucas Niang. 21. player. 53

How badly the Cleveland Browns have performed over the first five weeks of the season has been legitimately jarring to watch. Baker Mayfield looks broken, the defense has tried their best but has also been short-handed and guys like Odell Beckham Jr. and head coach Freddie Kitchens haven’t helped things. However, their offensive line remains their biggest and most concerning weakness right now, something that must be addressed for this team to have a modicum of success.

The Browns do address it here with TCU’s Lucas Niang. The powerful right tackle for the Horned Frogs is an athletic player capable of moving great on the outside, which allows him to show off his length and size to protect his quarterback. He’d be a nice fit into Cleveland’s offense and, obviously, help the offense be more successful than they’ve been in 2019.

Jalen Hurts. 22. player. 46. . QB. Indianapolis Colts

Jacoby Brissett has performed as well as any Indianapolis Colts fan could’ve hoped for in the wake of Andrew Luck’s sudden retirement. The team is sitting at 3-2 and looks to be a viable playoff threat out of the AFC South. However, anyone talking themselves into Brissett as a possible long-term option at quarterback is kidding themselves. He’s a fine player but not one that has the potential to take the team to the next level.

Jalen Hurts might be that type of player. Since arriving at Oklahoma, Hurts has been unbelievably good for the Sooners. He’s shown unreal poise, decision-making and his elite physical tools as both a thrower and runner. Even better, he can come in and sit behind Brissett in 2020 while he adjusts to the pro game and thus be set up for success in the best way possible. Regardless of that, though, he’s more than proven himself a first-round prospect in 2020.
