IOL. Los Angeles Chargers. Tyler Biadasz. 9. player. 13.

It’s safe to say that the Los Angeles Chargers have been among the most disappointing teams through the first five weeks of the year. Pegged by some (myself included) as a potential Super Bowl contender out of the AFC, they’ve been largely unimpressive in both winning and losing. Though there are multiple reasons why, the offensive line has been a critical shortcoming for this team up to this point.

Between injuries and under-performing players, the Chargers line has done a poor job of protecting and making their offense fully capable. A player like Wisconsin’s Tyler Biadasz could do wonders for this group. Though he plays center in Madison, he checks the physical benchmarks to move anywhere along the interior and be a plug and play starter. Frankly, he’d help the Bolts with a few of their current problems on offense right away.

WR. New York Giants. Henry Ruggs III. 10. player. 31.

When you look at how the New York Giants are currently constructed, there could be an argument made for taking a defensive player with the No. 10 pick in the draft. Their defense has shown they have some fight but they truly just don’t have the talent level or depth right now to be an upper-half unit in the NFL. Their offense, however, has upside with the likes of Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley and Evan Engram.

That may be true but the Giants could also supplement what could be a true strength by adding another game-changing athlete to the offense, which is what selecting Henry Ruggs III out of Alabama would do. This kid has speed that might be unlike anything we’ve ever seen in the NFL and knows how to use it. He’s a nightmare for opposing secondaries and could be an exhilirating addition to the New York offense for Danny Dimes to grow with.
