Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bryce Hall. 11. player. 48. . CB

When Todd Bowles arrived this year to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator, many hoped that by scheme alone this team would take a step forward. And while the new coaching arrival may have ignited the career of Shaq Barrett, the rest of the defense has not fully followed suit. And despite the draft capital that the Bucs have used at the position, the secondary is a major part of that.

Just because a team has missed on draft picks at a position recently, though, doesn’t mean they can afford to not admit their mistakes. The Bucs admit it here and grab Bryce Hall out of Virginia. Not getting enough love in this 2020 draft class, Hall has everything you want in terms of size and speed to be an outside corner at the next level, along with the film to back it up. He’s an obvious first-round talent that climbs near the top 10 here.

. WR. Jacksonville Jaguars. CeeDee Lamb. 12. player. 52

Just like everyone predicted, the Jacksonville Jaguars offense has been ignited in the 2019 season. However, it’s not been Nick Foles, who’s been out due to injury since Week 1, that’s been responsible for that. Instead, sixth-round rookie Gardner Minshew has come in and captured the hearts of many while playing incredibly well. The emergence of D.J. Chark and Leonard Fournette realizing his potential hasn’t hurt either.

Having said that, Chark needs some help in the receiving corps. Dede Westbrook has not been consistent and the depth of this group is lacking. As such, the Jaguars land CeeDee Lamb from Oklahoma here. Though he’s not a physical marvel in terms of his speed, he has arguably the best hands and 50-50 ball prowess of any pass-catcher in the 2020 class. Pairing that type of jump-ball receiver with a player like Chark could make for an exceptional duo in Jacksonville.
