17. Dallas Cowboys (13)

Remember all of the talk surrounding the Dallas Cowboys after their 3-0 start, and how the team didn’t exactly face the most difficult competition?

While it was easy to understand the two losses to the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers, coming up short against the previously winless New York Jets in Week 6 was completely unexpected for the Cowboys.

What made this loss even more frustrating for Dallas is with the Philadelphia Eagles coming up short on the road against the Minnesota Vikings, the Cowboys missed another golden opportunity to gain a full-game lead on their rivals in the division race.

For years, there’s been plenty of debate over whether Jason Garrett is the right answer as head coach for Dallas since the head coach has struggled at times to get this team to live up to their true potential, and the talks will most likely continue to heat up after Week 6.

With three losses in a row, Garrett should expect to see his name on the hot seat within the next couple of days since the Cowboys are facing more pressure than ever, even if Dallas is technically still in first place.

As previously mentioned, it was one thing to lose two tough games in a row to serious contenders in the NFC, but the Cowboys have no one to blame other than themselves for coming up short to the Jets.
