16. Philadelphia Eagles (9)

If the Philadelphia Eagles weren’t strongly considering the possibly of adding another cornerback before the trade deadline at the end of the month, they may want to strongly consider doing so after Sunday’s horrendous performance against the Minnesota Vikings.

When looking at the kind of weapons Kirk Cousins has to work with on offense for the Vikings, the Eagles knew they would be in for a difficult battle, but even Doug Pederson didn’t expect things to look this bad in the loss.

From allowing Stefon Diggs to have a career day with seven catches for 167 yards to go along with three touchdowns to Carson Wentz feeling plenty of pressure throughout the contest, Sunday was rough all around for Philadelphia.

On top of the issues at cornerback with players like Sidney Jones, it’s becoming even more clear on offense just how much the Eagles miss DeSean Jackson since no one seems capable of stepping up to become a reliable deep threat.

And if the Eagles thought Sunday’s game in Minnesota was difficult, one can only imagine what the team could have in store for Week 7 when hitting the road again to take on the Dallas Cowboys in what is always a tough rivalry game.
