9. Indianapolis Colts (11)

The Indianapolis Colts couldn’t have asked for a better way to enter their bye week by handing the Kansas City Chiefs a loss on their own turf, but now the fun comes in making sure that momentum carries over in Week 7 during a key battle with the Houston Texans.

Despite the loss of Andrew Luck to retirement during the preseason, the Colts still felt confident enough in Jacoby Brissett being able to handle the responsibilities on offense, which has been the case so far.

Plenty of football fans forget just how effective Brissett was during the 2017 season when filling in for Luck, and if he continues to play well enough on offense while receiving the necessary help on the defensive side of the football, Indianapolis is going to be difficult to beat.

Defeating the Chiefs on the road the way they did back in Week 5 was a huge statement for the Colts to show the rest of the league they’re talented enough to compete with the best of teams in the AFC.

Indianapolis turned out to be one of the biggest surprise teams of 2018 after earning one of the Wild Card spots in the AFC, and through two months of action, this squad arguably looks even more dangerous.
