3. New Orleans Saints (2)

Sunday’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars certainly wasn’t pretty at times for the New Orleans Saints, but all that matters is Sean Payton‘s team continues to find ways to win games while Drew Brees continues to recover from a thumb injury.

Once again, Teddy Bridgewater continues to do just enough on offense after throwing for 240 yards with a touchdown, and the Saints quarterback deserves plenty of credit since this was one of those games in which there wasn’t that much support from the ground game.

Normally, Alvin Kamara is an absolute nightmare for opposing defenses to deal with, and seeing the running back limited to just 31 rushing yards on 11 carries shows how great the Jaguars’ defense played in this one.

By winning their fourth game in a row since Brees went down in Week 2, the Saints continue to make a strong case over being the team to beat in the NFC, and they will certainly be heavily tested again in Week 7 with a tough road matchup against the Chicago Bears.

Bridgewater has found ways to help New Orleans win over the last four weeks, and if the Saints quarterback can help the team increase their winning streak to five games, it’s only going to make their case for being the team to beat in the conference that much stronger.
