28. New York Giants (23)

Just when it seemed like the New York Giants appeared to be on their way to becoming a surprise contender in the NFC, the team has now lost two games in a row following a rough outing on Thursday against the New England Patriots.

As bad as it sounds, this seemed like a game that was going to be a brutal one for the Giants from the start since the Patriots are defending Super Bowl champions for a reason.

Even if New York made things a little more interesting than expected in the first half, New England never really seemed that concerned in this one since the Giants are clearly a work in progress.

To say it was a rough outing for Daniel Jones in this one would be a huge understatement after the rookie quarterback was picked off three times by the Patriots’ defense, and struggled to get the necessary support on offense.

However, as much as the Giants don’t want to hear this early experience for Jones should be the main focus moving forward, this seems to be the direction the team is heading after seeing how the previous two games have played out.

At least with a favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7, Jones and the Giants could be in great position to end that unfortunate losing streak.
