26. Tennessee Titans (20)

Could there be a quarterback controversy brewing with the Tennessee Titans after Marcus Mariota was benched for Ryan Tannehill during Sunday’s embarrassing loss to the Denver Broncos?

First off, it’s difficult to put all of the blame on Mariota since the Titans haven’t exactly done the best job in providing the former first-round pick with the proper protection on the offensive line.

Not to mention, the fact that Tannehill was sacked four times compared to just three on Mariota.

However, these factors alone may not prevent Mike Vrabel from making the switch since the Titans appear to be on the verge of desperation mode for some sort of spark on offense since Tennessee as a team only has 98 points to their name.

The Titans knew Sunday’s loss on the road in Denver was going to be a difficult one since the Browns’ defense has made a strong case for being one of the top units over the last couple of seasons, but this still doesn’t help Tennessee feel any better.

Most likely, Mariota will end up starting once again in Week 7 with the Los Angeles Chargers coming to town, but also Sunday was a pretty clear sign that Vrabel won’t be afraid to make the switch if he feels it’s necessary to help the Titans.
