Arizona Cardinals (2-3-1) at New York Giants (2-4)

Sunday, October 20, 1PM ET

We knew it would happen eventually, right? It took a while, but the Kyler Murray-Kliff Kingsbury combo is finally hitting its stride. The Arizona Cardinals now have two wins in a row, and the offense deserves most of the credit for that run of success.

Will the New York Giants finally bring it to a halt? I’m going to say no. While the G-Men have shown a spark at times this season, we’ve seen in recent weeks that they’re far from the contender fans were blindly hoping for after they made the switch to Daniel Jones.

Expect this to be another high-scoring game, with the two rookie quarterbacks dueling it against two defenses that love to give up points. However, at this point in time, it seems as though Murray has a stronger supporting cast. Even if Saquon Barkley returns to the field for the Giants, it’s not going to be enough to give them the edge.

New York was hoping the move to Jones would be the difference in 2019. Unfortunately, there are still too many gaps in their roster to be competitive on a weekly basis. They’ll keep things close against the Cardinals, but April’s No. 1 overall pick will come out on top.

Prediction: Cardinals win 34-31
