Baltimore Ravens (4-2) at Seattle Seahawks (5-1)

Sunday, October 20, 4:25PM ET

Somewhere deep down, I wanted to pick the Baltimore Ravens to win this one. It’s hard to pick against Lamar Jackson and a tough Baltimore defense. In the end, though, I ended up rolling with Russell Wilson, the MVP candidate and magician who has the Seattle Seahawks at 5-1.

Wilson has been simply unstoppable this season. While many would say the same about Jackson, his yardage hasn’t translated to as many wins. Despite the latter’s dynamic ability to run the ball, I tend to put my trust in the veteran leader and proven winner who has a knack for making big plays in the clutch.

Plus, he’s got a better supporting cast. Chris Carson is one of the best running backs in the league this year, especially after he solved his early season fumbling issues. Tyler Lockett is among the NFL’s most underrated receivers, and the Seattle offensive line has held up surprisingly well this season. The defense isn’t what it used to be, but it’s opportunistic and creates turnovers when it matters most.

The Ravens will do their best to come away with the win. And yet, the Seahawks will have the 12s at their backs and Wilson running the show. A close battle ends in a win for Seattle after a last-minute stop by the defense.

Prediction: Seahawks win 27-26
