San Francisco 49ers (5-0) at Washington Redskins (1-5)

Sunday, October 20, 1PM ET

The Washington Redskins got a break in Week 6 with a premier matchup with the hapless Dolphins. However, it’ll be a polar opposite situation in Week 7 when they host the San Francisco 49ers, one of only two undefeated teams left in the NFL in 2019.

Let’s be honest — it’s not going to end well for the Redskins. They’ve struggled all season long to move the ball, avoid turnovers, and keep opponents from putting big points on the board. I’d expect more of the same in Week 7 against a 49ers team that has been dominant defensively and very efficient on offense.

Don’t be surprised if Bill Callahan and his group fail to put up many (if any) points in this one. They’ve had little to no success under center this season, and San Francisco figures to shut down any effort Adrian Peterson can muster in the running game. Meanwhile, the 49ers offense figures to run all over this D.C. defense.

If you’re a San Francisco fan, you’re going to enjoy this game. If you’re a Redskins fan, you may want to find something else to do next Sunday. It may not be a complete blowout, but the 49ers will make a mockery of this Washington club by the time the clock strikes zero.

Prediction: 49ers win 27-6
