12. Patriots score two touchdowns on defense again

Even if the argument can be made the schedule has worked to their advantage, watching the New England Patriots only allow 48 points through six games in 2019 is absolutely incredible to think about.

Tom Brady normally receives most of the credit for the success surrounding this team, but if the Patriots manage to make another run at the Super Bowl when the time comes, the defense will most likely be a reason as to why as well.

Last week’s win over the New York Giants is the perfect example of just how great New England’s defense has been in 2019 after the unit found a way to turn two of their turnovers into touchdowns.

And despite how tough the New York Jets could make things on Monday following their thrilling Week 6 win over the Dallas Cowboys, the Patriots shouldn’t be worried too much.

Sam Darnold has plenty of reasons to be playing with a ton of extra confidence at the moment after finally returning for the Jets, but also the Patriots are well aware that he’s still adjusting to playing again.

If New England can work this to their advantage, the defense could be in for another strong performance on Monday against New York, and may even add a few touchdowns to their season total.
