7. Stafford throws four touchdown passes in first half

Rightfully so, the Detroit Lions have every reason in the world to be frustrated over the outcome of Monday’s game against the Green Bay Packers when looking at some of the questionable calls, but all the team can do is focus on their next game on Sunday.

Coming up short against a division rival is always frustrating, but at least the Lions will have a shot at a little redemption with the Minnesota Vikings coming to town.

After their impressive win over the Philadelphia Eagles, the Vikings made a pretty strong statement in Week 6 when it comes to proving they have what it takes to compete for the NFC North title with plenty of talent on both sides of the football.

But without question, Minnesota’s defense should have their hands full against a motivated Matthew Stafford looking to help Detroit bounce back since the Lions were literally on the verge of being in first place in the division before Monday’s loss dropped them to last.

For most of his career, Stafford has been considered one of the toughest quarterbacks in the NFL when looking at some of the brutal hits he’s taken, and if some of his favorite targets step up against the Vikings’ defense, a monster first half could end up taking place.
