1. Eagles defeat Cowboys to take NFC East lead

Following two impressive wins in a row over the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets, the Philadelphia Eagles took a bit of a step back in Week 6 by suffering an embarrassing loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

To say the Eagles have been one of the biggest victims in the injury department so far in 2019 would be a huge understatement, whether it happens to be DeSean Jackson only appearing in one game or cornerbacks dropping like flies on defense.

But if anyone thinks these injuries are going to prevent Philadelphia from stepping up their game against Dallas, they better think again since the Eagles have already shown early signs of being extra motivated for what should be another classic battle.

This NFC East rivalry deserves credit for being one of the best in the league after watching some of the intense battles from over the last couple of years, and one can only imagine how things play out come Sunday night.

Dallas may appear to have the early advantage due to playing at home, but Doug Pederson realizes the importance of this game, and will make sure his Eagles players are ready to go, especially with first place in the division being on the line.
