19. Chark records double-digit catches for first time in career

One can only imagine how different the 2019 season would be for the Jacksonville Jaguars if Nick Foles were healthy enough to play, but at least DJ Chark is proving to be a reliable option for the former Super Bowl MVP in the future.

Back in 2018, the Jaguars decided to use a second-round pick on the LSU product with the hope of providing a spark in the passing game.

Despite showing some signs of being a potential bust as a rookie after only hauling in 14 catches for 174 yards in 11 games, Chark has done an incredible job stepping up on offense for Jacksonville in 2019.

Just how great has the young wideout been? Seeing how Chark already has 30 receptions for 528 yards to go along with five touchdowns shows how valuable he’s been to the Jaguars, and hopefully he only continues to get better with experience.

With that being said, the one accomplishment Chark is still looking to achieve this early in his career is recording double-digit catches in a game, which could even take place on Sunday against the struggling Cincinnati Bengals.

The fact that Cincinnati has yet to win a single game in 2019 shows this could be the perfect opportunity for Jacksonville to get back on the winning track, and if Chark receives a heavy workload in the passing game, it seems more likely to happen.
