15. Lazard records first multi-touchdown game of career

Throughout his career, Aaron Rodgers has always been the kind of quarterback that makes the players around him better, and when looking at their current situation at wide receiver, Week 7 could see certain players step up.

Adjusting on offense without Davante Adams was already difficult enough for the Packers over the last few weeks, and the passing game took another hit during Monday’s win over the Detroit Lions when Geronimo Allison was forced to leave with an injury.

On a positive note, Allen Lazard found a way to take advantage of the situation on offense by stepping up for Green Bay when needed the most, and would end up leading the Packers with four catches for 65 yards to go along with a touchdown.

Towards the end of last season, the Packers signed Lazard off the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad. And after only appearing in one game during the 2018 season while recording just one catch for seven yards, Lazard is in the perfect situation to make a name for himself moving forward with Green Bay.

Rodgers seemed confident in knowing what Lazard can bring to the table after seeing what the wideout has been capable of during practices, and if the Packers need him to step up again when taking on the Oakland Raiders, expect him to answer the call.
