Defense/Special Teams

Start: New Orleans Saints (vs. CHI)

The Saints haven’t allowed a 100-yard rusher in 32 straight games dating back to last season and the Bears haven’t had a 100-yard rusher all season. I don’t expect their first one this week. The Bears have scored over 20 points in only two games this season and New Orleans held two of their five opponents to 10 points or fewer this season.

The Saints haven’t had a negative fantasy outing this season as they’re the eighth overall fantasy defense. With Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky coming off of an injury, look for the Saints defense to surpass their projected 7.3 points this week.

Sit: Indianapolis Colts (vs. HOU)

Coming off a bye, the Colts have to face the red hot Texans and MVP candidate Deshaun Watson. The Texans are currently seventh in the league in points scored so far this season and have scored back-to-back games with 32 and 31 points in their last two games, respectively and they’ve scored at least 27 points in four of their six games so far this season.

The Colts have allowed three of the five teams they’ve faced to score 24 or more points this season. Watson has 17 total touchdowns so far this season and, in a must-win division game, I expect Watson to ball out against a Darius Leonard-less Colts defense. Expect them to finish below their projected 5.4 fantasy points against the MVP candidate led Texans offense.

Three Week 7 streaming options: Packers (vs. OAK), Lions (vs. MIN), Kansas City (vs. DEN).
