4. San Francisco 49ers

The first two months of the regular season has been filled with plenty of surprises, and the San Francisco 49ers still undefeated certainly deserves credit to be near the top of the list.

Words can’t even describe how tough it was to watch the 49ers struggle last year after Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a torn ACL. But now that Garoppolo’s fully healthy, and receiving amazing support from the defensive side of the football, San Francisco is making a strong case for being the team to beat in the NFC.

Of course, just because the 49ers are off to a hot start doesn’t necessary mean the success is guaranteed to last since Kyle Shanahan and company still have a lot to prove over the next few months.

Speaking of Shanahan, the San Francisco head coach would love nothing more than to defeat the team he used to be part of with the 49ers taking on the Washington Redskins on Sunday.

Even though the Redskins just won for the first time last weekend after defeating the Miami Dolphins, it’s never easy when a team like the 49ers has to travel across the country for a game.

Not to mention, with Washington showing signs of feeling extra motivated since letting Jay Gruden go, an upset over San Francisco would boost that confidence even more.
