2. New England Patriots

Keeping the trend going in the AFC East, no one needs to explain to football fans just how intense things tend to get when the New England Patriots and New York Jets face one another.

Even though the Jets haven’t been a playoff-caliber team in years, this team has given the Patriots plenty of trouble at times over the years, and would love nothing more than to knock off the defending Super Bowl champions Monday night in front of a national audience.

All hope seemed lost a few weeks ago for the Jets when seeing how horrendous the offense looked without Sam Darnold, but the team’s recent win over the Dallas Cowboys shows they may actually have what it takes to compete.

At this rate, the best approach for New York is to focus on one game at a time, and while the win against the Cowboys was impressive, defeating the Patriots would catch the attention of even more football fans.

Of course, if the Jets are going to have any shot at pulling this off, Darnold will need to find a way to pick apart the elite defense of the Patriots, which of course is easier said than done when looking at how great the unit has been through six games.
