3. Colts vs. Texans

Speaking of division rivals, the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans have made strong cases for being the top two teams to beat in the AFC South.

Plenty could happen from now until the end of December if the Jacksonville Jaguars or Tennessee Titans find a way to turn things around, but since this seems highly unlikely, it only seems fair to assume that Indianapolis and Houston are the clear cut favorites at the moment.

While the Colts will be well rested after their bye week that came after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs on the road, the Texans are actually coming off a big win over Andy Reid’s squad as well.

With both AFC South teams proving they have what it takes to beat one of the top Super Bowl favorites in the Chiefs, now the fun comes by seeing which team finishes on the winning end on Sunday to gain an extra edge in the division race.

Indianapolis appeared to be the favorites a few weeks ago, but the last two weeks have made it clear that Houston has quite the special team with Deshaun Watson under center.

Just how good has Watson been recently? Well, the fact that Houston has seen their beloved quarterback enter the MVP conversation shows just how good Watson has been, and he doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
