1. Emmanuel Sanders, WR, Denver Broncos

Entering the final year of his current contract, Sanders could be expendable for a Broncos team that’s struggling (2-5). Denver has already stated it isn’t interested in trading him away, but if the right offer was received it wouldn’t be surprising to see Sanders shipped off.

Sanders is the type of dynamic playmaker the Packers are missing at receiver at the moment. We don’t know when Davante Adams could return for his toe injury, which means Green Bay might need a legitimate No. 1 receiver in the meantime. The Packers can’t rely on Aaron Rodgers to carry the offense week-in and week-out similarly to how he did against the Lions in Week 6.

Trading for Sanders would allow the Packers offense to operate at a higher level. He’d command attention in the middle of the field on underneath routes with his astute route running, opening up intermediate and deeper options for players like Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Because of his age and current contract situation, the Packers may be able to acquire Sanders for a fourth-round pick.
