The immensely struggling Miami Dolphins are back in action as they face the Buffalo Bills in Week 7. Five bold predictions for this big-time AFC East clash.

While the Buffalo Bills enter Week 7 coming off of a bye week and aiming to keep proving themselves one of the best teams in the AFC, the visiting Miami Dolphins just escaped the jaws of victory last week against Washington. Now they hope to get back to their handily-losing ways on Sunday at New Era Stadium.

For reasons that are ultimately hard to explain, the Dolphins are making a switch at quarterback once again. Ryan Fitzpatrick will take back over for Josh Rosen. However, it’s hard to say if that will matter against the Bills defense that has statistically (and by the eye test) been one of the best defenses in the NFL this season. The key, however, may be Josh Allen taking advantage of the Miami defense, the worst unit in the league.

The outcome of the Buffalo Bills hosting the Miami Dolphins isn’t much in doubt. How we get there, though, is still uncertain. With that in mind, let’s make five bold predictions for Sunday’s AFC East clash.

5. Gore rolls for 120 yards

Nevermind the fact that he’s 36 years old, Frank Gore continues to be the most staunch defier of Father Time as he suits up with the Bills this season. Not only is Gore on the roster, though, he’s been their leading rusher and a highly effective player in Buffalo’s 4-1 start to the season.

Gore has carried the ball only 75 times this season through five outings but still has 333 yards and two touchdowns on his ledger. His 4.4 yards per carry average is highly impressive for most running backs, much less one that’s closer to 40 years old than he is to 30 years old.

On Sunday in Buffalo, Gore will turn back the clock even further. To this point, he only has one 100-yard game on the season (109 yards vs. the Patriots in Week 4). That will change against a Dolphins defense giving up the second-most rushing yards per game to opponents this season. Gore will make his season-high mark and dominate the action on the ground.
